the atrocities weren't committed by Jews, but by Maronites (christians). By the way, the Palestinians initiated the war in '75 by firing guns at a crowd of church goers. Keep in mind that the Maronites gave the Palestinian refugees a roof over their head when they arrived in 1948 after fleeing Israel. Just read the eyewitness reports of the massacre in Damour committed by the Palestinians in January 1976.
