There is no mistaking that the object in the print below is a piece of wood. NASA claims that Mars is a desert planet with no life at all. NASA lies, repeatedly. Quoting: danes1 [link to marsrovers.jpl.nasa.gov] It does look like a rotted plank or beam ....but I have seen rock formations like that on Earth that look much the same. Still...it is odd where it is in the sand. Looks like water flowed around it too. |

Too many stories to conclude anything. Maybe you are right, OP. In that case, we are just walking stills of liquid gold. Is Dec. 21st, 2012 the harvest date? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24532632 "Just looks like an oblong rock structure, which seems to be buried in numerous amounts under dust".. OP:...."no, its a wooden beam from a floating ship, squint and imagine harder bitch" |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 13622094 But that's WOOD! No way I'm going to believe that's a rock!! Do you see all the slab stones all over the place? All it would take is for one of them to fall over an eroded hill and expose one end and voila! I'd be much more interested in what is emitting or reflecting the light above the object just below the horizon. +1 Sometimes you have to run, before you can walk. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 29130142 12/08/2012 03:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well this is interesting, great pick OP! All the previous whatever-found-in-Mars pics have been such that you couldn't really say anything about the "mystery objects" there. This one's pretty obvious. Now if that's not wood then it's gotta be something that looks hell of a lot like wood, and in either case it "shouldn't" be in Mars. Plus, it looks processed wood, a log being neatly cut. Curious, curious, curious once again! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16273761 give me one plausible explanation of how that thing could be a rock, and not wood!! Rock seen edgewize. and black and white photo so....yeah |
| waitn4end Live & Let Live User ID: 26836006 12/08/2012 11:42 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thing is no one is saying that the ground looks like it was wet at one time and the water all dried up leaving dried mud cracking. Also wouldn't the layers of the "ROCK" implicate water helped it form by deposits. Quoting: Riggsalent NOW I see why we spent trillions to go back with more sophisticated toys. Quoting: danes1 [link to marsrovers.jpl.nasa.gov] Notice how the rover tracks lead right up to the object but I'll bet they don't have any closer photos. Why the hell is JPL and NASA still playing the black and white photo game with the sheeple. Everyone knows that's a blue fucking sky already. |

Quoting: tandym It does resemble a decaying railroad tie, too. I am also interested in the reflection further up in the picture. Hell yes! That is one interesting picture OP!
