Love will find a way - A Poem/Song

If you are happy, if you have love, then that's all that matters.

Everywhere I go, I see people hurtin'
Hurt by life every day, damn it's disconcertin'
People just tryin' to make it another day
They lookin' round, seein' everybody feels the same

But not everybody is the same,
We are diverse
Different colors, different paths,
All equal, none better or worse

Love will find a way,
Love will have it's day,
People gonna try to take it all away.

Don't let 'em get you down,
Just keep on lovin'
Cause try as they might,
Love is here to stay.

Now some ain't content
to live their own lives
and let others live theirs
they feel they gotta strive

To make everyone believe like they do
To make 'em act, think and love like they do
It's not enough for them to be happy as they are
They gotta make everyone the same, no matter what they are.

Love will find a way,
Love will have it's day,
People gonna try to take it all away.

Don't let 'em get you down,
Just keep on lovin'
Cause try as they might,
Love is here to stay.

Now I don't think that's right or fair,
Cause there's just some things
you shouldn't control,
like the weather in the air

The way I see it, if you have Love
that's good enough
Cause life is hard,
and life is rough

It don't matter to me how you choose to find it,
Just as long as no one's gonna get hurt by it,
So just focus on what you love,
and let the rest just fade away,
Cause no matter who you love,
You love 'em, and that's ok.

Let's be real, everyone is different
Different music, different clothes
Different food, different interests
And that just goes to show

That you can't force everyone to be the same,
it's unnatural.
You're free to believe otherwise, it's only fair
Cause most morality is derived from belief in the supernatural.

But for those of us who don't live like you do,
It hurts to hear you disapprove of what we do
We're trying to make it, just the same as you
All we're trying to get is love, same as you do.

Most of us aren't trying to be in your face,
I can't speak for the ones who are
cause this is the human race.

All I'm really saying is it don't matter how you love
And you can fight Love all you want,
But it don't matter how hard you try
You can't stop Love from happening,
And Love will never die.

I just want us to love

So stop all the arguing,
make the world a better place
Cause no matter how hard you try
Love will find a way.
