In retrospect, its not a matter of what you can do NOW that you're 18, because not much really changes - you're still you and still have all the prior responsibilities. What changes is the fact that you become responsible for your own actions now! The world is a cold, hard place but can be rewarding to those who understand the only difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the word EXTRA. Give 110% in everything you do and you'll likely have a good life. Never stop dreaming. Never give up and the world will open up to you. Every man dies but few ever live. Work hard but don't fail to stop and enjoy life in the process. Lots of good and bad things happen to people. Its how we handle things that make us adults and enable us to have a good life. In any event, you're the driver at the wheel now. Choose wisely. Be careful not to take council from those who are negative. Consider looking at what the average person does, how they think and how they act and do the opposite. Because most people never allow them selves to dream, never push themselves hard enough and never live the life they were meant to live. Best of luck. |
