What is the Worst State(s) to be in When TSHTF?

Any major metropolitan area is going be a clusterfuck. Desert cities should die off fairly quickly due to lack of water.

I want to know what everyone thinks are the worst ststes to be in. In my opinion, they are New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Connecticut, Texas, California.
Texas is probably onwe of the worst because of it's proximity to Mexico, when it goes down, there will be thousands of Mexicans coming up here and scavenging, not to mention all the illegals currently here, that and there's 22 million people here.

Anywhere on a coastline or close to a nuclear facility or major river....North Texas or central US is the best place to be in my opinion....of course I live in Texas too so I might be a little partial...

The best states are the ones with the least amount of people. Look to wyoming or montana. Eastern washington/oregon might be good also.

I would think you'd want to get as far away from other people as possible. Places where the masses aren't going to be migrating to. I think this would apply to most every doom scenario.

In some scenarios, small communities of people sharing resources, and having specialized tasks within those communities, will be much stronger than one (or one family) going it alone.
