I think Texas is probably one of the worst places to be when the dollar collapse happens. I'm hoping it holds off until I can get back to my home state of Washington in the spring. In Texas, there is very little federal land its all State land The Texas General Land Office manages state lands and mineral rights totaling 13 million acres. This includes vast properties in West Texas, Gulf Coast beaches and bays and all “submerged” lands 10.35 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico, as well as a variety of state agency acreage and timberlands in East Texas. They're not going to let people roam around shooting deer and setting traps. There's 22 million people here for crying out loud. |
