United States 12/07/2012 07:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think the frame rate affects brain function [ link to news.yahoo.com] If you've read about the new Hobbit film, you'll see that people aren't enjoying the new fps. The general complaint seems to be, even thought they do not know why, that the fps makes them notice that what they are watching is 'not real'. I think this shows how fps has something to do with putting the brain in a hypnotic state. Different frame rates are better for inducing this receptive state. And others make you 'notice' things. What do you guys think? |
