Married 18 years no kids. Never wanted them. Life is good.

I have not had a GF in nearly 20 years and am doing well.

Pretty much ignore women as I have no need for them.

Do not hate them, just think life is more of a challenge without any help.

Its kinda fun out here, on my own, looking in.

that is very kind of you. I know who I am inside, I acknowledge my shortcomings. I am too obsessed with keeping myself in shape and my own interests. Children, as beautiful as they are, just never appealed to me for some reason, maybe I was afraid, or maybe it was just my destiny to be childless. I love my husband more than anything, and would have tried to give him a child if he wanted one, but then I would have been untrue to myself. Children deserve two parents that want to be parents. My parents were not very involved in my life, and I believe this also shaped me. I was given little emotional support and plenty of monetary gifts etc to compensate for absent parents. I was simply not that important and if a check could be written, it was.

I wouldn't mind getting married but I don't want kids, this world isn't worth bringing such a innocent life into it.

Same reason I'd never had kids in such a world. They wouldn't deserve it.

There are a lot of happy married couples with no kids; some of them (including me) have weighed in in this thread. It is a real possibility.

Thats the other thing; I am humble and do not feel good enough in this BS reality that most think is real.

So why bother really?

Same, been with my man for 20 yrs, no kids ( not a personal choice, health reasons ) and 4 staffys. I would of loved to have had kids but with whats going on in the world I`m glad I don`t. My dogs are my babies

I remember the time period I made the decision to remain childless... It was in my 2nd grade class, 1962, Miss Reins was the teacher and the lesson was an air-raid drill because Russia had the 'bomb' in Cuba. I was huddled under my desk when the notion struck, I remember it as if it were yesterday.

I really have never been happier and now that my husband and I are in the prime earning years of our life, we truly enjoy traveling and having the time and resources to enjoy every opportunity to travel or just do something fun on the weekends. I know some people love the kid's schedule of soccer games and such, but we are just like 22 year old newlyweds and still in awe of all the world has to offer. While everyone else with kids is worrying about college, etc., we are looking at maps and mountains and planning our next trip. Its not for everyone, I am lucky I married someone who felt the same way about kids, as that is something many couples fail to discuss before they get married, they just assume that having 3.5 kids is no big deal.... kids are a very big deal and deserve the best parents can give them. I had nothing to give.

Divorced with 2 kids.

Single now and don't imagine I will ever remarry. I'm a solitary person, marriage didn't really suit me the first time around.

Married, with kids. Love it, wouldn't have it any other way.

Started late, made sure I could afford a wife and kids.

Did the dog and cat thing, too. I love animals, but in no way are they like your children. Totally different.

I love my alone time. Being solitary is a gift sometimes.

Love being single and living alone. Get laid as often as I want. Just grandkids that visit.

People are often happy being drunken heathens. Living as a civilization takes a learned set of morals. Failure to do this will result in the destruction of society, as intended and what we see happening.

been married for 9 years to a wonderful woman don't like kids and never wanted them 1 of the best decision ever made my life.. I see women today pregnant I shake my head feel sorry for them. they have no idea the terrible things are going to have to do to feed their children pretty soon. they couldn't have picked a worse time to have children then right now..

VERY happy with my 'SO' (opposite sex... not that anything's wrong with that) Never had a biological clock, just good sense.

Never dated anyone who could/would support me and child(ren).

Would rather not hand my child over to someone else to raise while I go to work to pay others to raise my children.

Not selfish... in my case.
