I had one flu shot and never got another one. Let me tell you why. GERMS CANNOT LIVE IN A HEALTHY BODY. period!!!!!! many will disagree with this, but it's a fact. If we all just tried to eat a little better - cut back on the 'goodies'....as sugar lowers your immunity to disease - we'd all be better off. and how about trying to go to bed at a reasonable hour and getting the sleep your body needs to it can function at its best???????????? and don't forget about washing your hands throughout the day.. but no, these things are just too simple and easy. We have to had doctors and big pharma telling us to 'vaccinate, vaccinate, vaccinate!!!!!!!!!!!' anyway, I fear I'm the 'voice crying in the wilderness' here...... but does ANYONE on here agree with me, at least a little?!?!! - sigh - well sure i agree a little. humans don't do these things. at least not consistently. i see little kids playing on restaurant floors and then immediately eat food at their table. i see grown adults daily not wearing hats, gloves, or coats when its cold and rainy. the other day a young child was wearing flip flops, shorts, and short sleeve tee shirt outside at the shopping center when it was like 40 degrees. |

Quoting: OVRANALYZE I am 69 years old and I never get sick. Have never had the flu (won't ever get the vaccination)....maybe a cold 15 years ago that lasted 2 days. What am I doing right? I'm serious! I do get a lower backache now and then.... You sound like your in great shape for an old battle axe. ;-) Just messing with ya. What do you think is the reason for your great health? I quit taking vaccines about 5 years ago and have had nothing but a few minor colds since. I used to get the flu several times a year when taking the vaccines. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 26143620 12/09/2012 11:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Either there are two strains of flu this year or one of them is simply a virus - not related to the flu. This flu includes vomiting which is unusual for the strains we have had lately. Some people are saying they have the flu - saying things like it just started today, etc. If you have the flu, it is very doubtful that you would be able to stand upright for days, with the strain from this year. In my house, four out of five of us had the flu. The one who didn't had a flu shot. I know that they say you a person who gets a shot with the "dead" virus, can't give it to others. However, I don't believe that. My husband got the shot and within ten days, the rest of us came down with the flu. It's awful. I couldn't lift my head off of my pillow for three days...same for the other three in my home (my adult daughter and two younger). Three out of four of us had to visit the ER for fluids due to dehydration - my adult daughter had to go two times before it was over. We have a no flu shot policy in my home, but my husband let himself be talked into it this year. He didn't tell us and we were wondering where the heck we got it from. We didn't know another person with it. When my husband did not get sick and we started questioning that, he owned up to having the shot. Our doctor then agreed we had the flu, but of course insisted we did not get it from my husband. This was end of October/early November before it was getting out there. |

I had a tight stomach all day and then 12 hours later - bam! It hit me hard. 2 weeks ago, I woke with the same tight stomach feeling. I started drinking 1/2 tsp of baking soda with a cup of water about ever other hour. I felt like shit around the 12 hour mark, but 6 hours later I was hungry as hell and felt perfectly fine. Drink baking soda if you have the flu! Viruses cannot live in an alkaline environment! |
