The Bible symbolism is well understood that a woman is always a church. Thus the harlot is an impure or apostate church, just as the bride of Christ is his pure church. Israel too was likened to a woman, when they were God's people, then came the church. However, the Roman Harlot is wealthy and drunken with the blood of the saints during those Dark Ages of the Inquisition, and fornicates with the kings of the earth, in her Roman empire.

I agree she should be held in revrence, however, the roman catholic church puts her on a pedestal that is nothing short of idolatry. No where in Scripture does it say that we should pray to her. Or any of the apostles or any human for that matter. We are to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, to God the Father, through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
This is what Jesus taught. There are no variations on this.
Read the Scriptures for what they say, not oral pagan tradition passed down by false prophets and infiltrators.
