if the doom is coming...

I think we all thought that there would be a gentle build of doom until the end of 2012

but nothn

so... if there is any doom coming this year, its going to be a quick, savage, insta-doom kind of doom

And I kind of suspect that insta doom is the bad kind of doom.

Like the good kind of doom is like an emp blast from the sun, or a zombie apocalypse, or economic collapse. Basically, something a prepper can thrive in.

Insta doom is like a big ball of fire from the sun, or the earth turns inside out, or a black hole sucks us in. Basically, the kind of doom, that all of our years of doominess will not give us an edge in.

So... basically, the slow build up doom looks like its not going to happen.

That only leaves us with two kinds of doom.

Insta doom. Which no one wants.

And the slow inevitable decline of society doom.
