Cartoons are a medium to spread a message, no different then radio or live action. They can be silly or informative. The only difference between them and live action is that they are not limited visually (Good CGI is expensive). I have seen cartoons that have deeply explored ideas behind life and death, or pondered what a soul is. The cartoons of now-a-days are nothing like the cartoons of earlier times. They are not about a coyote falling of a cliff after being tricked by a bird. So i ask you, which is a more truthful medium? Radio? Live action? Animation? Books? Speech? All can tell the truth or tell a lie. They can entertain and educate. Maybe your generation views cartoons as nothing more then a childish thing, but try and view it without preconceived notions and explore the idea behind it. The economy is doing great. More green shoots each day. Consumer confidence is great. Unemployment is dropping. Stocks are soaring. Europe is saved. I like flouride. Chemtrails are pretty.
