Why are atheists so repulsive?

You seem pretty confident speaking for an entire group of people. Who's to say they hate so much? I'm sure there are some that do, but all? It sounds like you are making a pretty big generalization, a bad one at that.

The issue is that religions always first start as persecuted and then when they gain enough members turn into persecutors. Most people dont hate religion they hate the fact that religious people have in fact an agenda to push their views onto them. Abrahamic religions are incompatible with freedom.

Just look at the comments from Athiests to Christians throughout GLP, not even subtle in the hate.

I've never told anyone who didn't believe what I believe they will burn in the lake of fire. I could care less. I keep my beliefs between myself and God. I've turned my cheek to atheists and their vicious attacks on muslims and christians for so long and I can't refrain from speaking my mind anymore. It is everywhere I look, and all this explicit artwork depicting Jesus in horrific manners is so insulting and it truly hurts my soul.
