You are interpreting those verses from the view point that Jesus did not want to heal the woman's daughter. Look at those verses as though Jesus wanted to heal the woman's daughter AND He wanted to teach the Jews around Him that faith in Jesus would be rewarded and that even non Jews could be blessed by faith in Him.
