Report Copyright Violation | if people don't think things are worse now... 1. You realize that when I was growing up, people never looked at anyone and thought 'pedophile'!
It just didn't happen. If a kid sat on Santa's lap, no one thought twice about it. A boy scout leader? Great guy. A priest? Kind saintly soul. Mr. Rogers? No suspicions.
2. AIDS and Herpes and genital warts? WTF were those? Didn't know about them. When you had sex with a woman, the worse thing that might happen is you would have to get a penicillin shot. So when you had sex, it wasn't some weird debacle with a latex condom where in the back of your mind you were thinking...
am I going to give her something I have and don't know about? Or will she give me something she doesn't know, and I will die?
3. Songs were about love and politics.
Today they are about sex and having money. Can you imagine if the temptations were singing about how much money and sex they had?
I could go on. But people have just become accustomed to insanity. So much so, they forgot what a healthy society was like. |

The problem is that people don't stop and think about what you just typed. All the younger generation knows is what life is like now and what they plan to do. The older generation sees the change, but not enough is being done to warn the younger ones about it. |

The difference today is that awareness and consciousness of these things is greater.
Higher awareness and consciousness are good things. |
