Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29004976 There is a lot of it going around up here as well.....including with myself and family. Atypical chronic cough......most probably caused by particulates in the air. In my opinion......it is from the planes spraying overhead.......aluminum dust. I have found that Spriulina and Chlorella are helpful. They bind to the particles and help the body get rid of them. Turns a dry cough into a productive cough......so that you can spit it out. You will also sneeze it out and poop it out. I have noticed that in the past 5 years or so there have been a flood of products that have come on the market for 'mucous' so it must be a prevalent and increasing problem. I have had asthma like symptoms that mysteriously appeared a couple of months ago. It includes a cough, and sometimes very thick mucous. I'm in Texas. Lots of chemtrails where I live. I forgot to say that I already take 10,000 IU's of vitamin D per day because I have MS. I thought it was allergy here in Central Texas when it started raining a lot for a couple months that caused massive plant growth everywhere that gave us high pollen counts so who knows? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 29004976 United States 12/08/2012 12:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It happens when your vitamin D level drops too low at this time of the year. Quoting: AlcoholicRunner Take 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 for a month then cut back to 5,000 IU a day for life. Won't you build up a toxicity after 4,000? That's a myth. I looked into it a few years and it turned out to be total bullshit. The treatment for vitamin D deficiency is one 50,000 IU a week for 2-3 months so it makes no sense why 4,000 IU a day would cause toxicity. Your long term maintenance dosage should be based on body weight........as well as testing your D3 level several times per year. Your D3 blood level should be: 40---70 You can go up a bit higher if you have a disease that you are treating. A D3 blood level of over 100 is toxic. A child should be getting around 1500 IUs daily. A women of 115 pounds should be getting around 4,000 IUs. A man of 170 pounds should be getting around 5,000 to 6,000 IUs daily. See: "Use of Vitamin D in Clinical Practice by John J. Cannell, MD and Bruce W. Hollis, PhD Would advise taking Vitamin K2 with your D3. |

Has this started in the last three to four months? I have noticed a lot of peolple with these coughs and was wondering how prevalent it was. Quoting: MA 22376784 Yes! It started around the last week of August and I haven't been able to get rid of it. I've hit it with just about everything you can think of...vitamin D3, colloidal silver, vitamin c, oregano oil, olive leaf, echinacea, homemade chicken bone broth, mullein, cherry bark and elderberry, just to name a few, and nothing has worked. My husband has it too. We live a healthy lifestyle and have done so for over 20 years. Neither one of us ever thought we'd have such trouble getting rid of a cough. Try Spirulina and Chlorella. You can find it at a health store. There is also the green "Naked" drinks......available at most grocery stores. |
