serious stuff this especially with the scuds as far as I know assad hasn't used scud's in conventional and unconventional ways against the rebels where as its easy to say the rebels will use them, even with chemicals which is hypocritical considering they are for the 'people'

It'll go down one of either a few ways...

Assad will deploy his sarin and claim it was against "foreign Invaders" rebels or whatever...and that it was necessary because they took over some deadly chemicals and he used the nerve gas to save lives by neutralizing those foriegn fighters before they could chlorine gas "his people"...then it'll be on like donkey kong...

Whatever rebel/CIA/AQ/ spooks or crazy ass mooslimbs will shoot some gas off whether it's Sarin or not, kill some sheeple and Assad will get the blame..also OLDK after that.

Assad will deploy his Sarin because he's had enough of the same rebel/CIA/AQ/ spooks or crazy ass mooslimbs say fuck you and deny it and also then...OLDK...

Or nothing happens with the Sarin and things plod along with the US backed rebel/CIA/AQ/ spooks or crazy ass mooslimbs continuig to train wreck Syria until Assad either gets serious with Russia and Iran backing him and he routs em, or they eventually win and he's gone.

Seems to me Obama is getting impatient...not like he's known for Prudence anyway...so I'd say right now the odds of something going hot in a bigger way are better than the status quo holding for much longer.

if they did get chemical weapons they may have come from the west.....

For scenerios yes...but chances one of those 3 happening are are only slightly better than nothing happening, as far as chemical weapon freakout OLDK go...and one more I did not add...the "Pre-emptive strike" before anything can happen bullshit...

That also factors in creating even more a less likely chance that the status quo will hold for much longer.
