It's interesting that those who are of a conspiracy mind refuse to believe government sources, but they'll believe almost anything anybody else says with little-to-no evidence. Actually, I truly follow the dictum of this site at the bottom of the page----------don't believe anything you read on this site. It's also that I don't tend to trust the Government telling me what's what either. I was simply replying to the person above who seemed to be placing trust in Gov. sites. Would it calm your mind if I were to calculate the orbit of C/2012 V4 myself using nothing but amateur astrometric measurements and then load that into Celestia and see if it still matches what STEREO-B HI2 sees?  |
