When it comes to pornography, no one is immune. It affects men and women of all ages.

Today, teenagers are bombarded with these images like never before through the Internet. They're growing up in a world awash in X-rated material.

It's a $97 billion business every year, making more than top tech companies Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, eBay, Google, and Yahoo combined.

Roughly 12 percent of the world's websites, 4.2 million of them, offer the illicit material. About 2.5 billion pornographic emails whiz through cyberspace everyday - a whopping 8 percent of all the world's daily emails.

Possibly most astounding of all, 67 percent of men and 49 percent of women now say porn is acceptable.

As for young people, the average age they first see it is now 11 years old. Ninety percent of those 8 to 16 years old say they've viewed it online.

Many are now becoming addicted. It's an addiction that could ruin their future lives.

Former addict C.J. Hitz, from Colorado Springs, Colo., was first exposed to porn magazines at age 8, and it led to years of addiction to pornography.

"Our society is just saturated with it," Hitz, author of Forgiveness Formula, told CBN News. "Today's young generation receives more temptation per second than any other generation in the history of mankind."

Every second, 28,258 people are looking at X-rated material online. Every second, people are spending $3,075 on such material.

"Before, pornography was like this dirty, secretive, dark subculture," Aubrey Terry, with the Human Trafficking Task Force in Southern Colorado, said.

She blames the Internet for much of the present X-rated epidemic.

"Now it's accessible to everyone. Now it's everyday life," she said.

Terry knows the dark side of this world. Her sister was trafficked sexually. She herself was first exposed to pornography by a grandfather and an uncle who abused her sexually from when she was 2 years old till she was rescued from them at age 9.

Her first memory: "Having a bottle and being exposed to that kind of stuff," she said.

Yeah it's easy to condemn it, but it sure is difficult to understand how it feels.

I myself was born and raised in this porn generation.. I believe I started when I was 13, when it was dial up, have been masturbating to it ever since, I'm 22 now.

The problem

1)We have a huge sexual drive and desire, it is unfortunately part of our nature...

2)We were and have been raised in a sick generation, a generation that immediately tries to destroy does who are not adjusted to it... so if you are an individual that tends to think be him her self..then you are a freak and nobody likes you, including the ones from the opposite sex..

3)The sex culture has been here for a while, way before porn was here, the perception gained through media is that sex is something normal and that everyone does it.. and that is part of every day life

How it starts

So once those sexual urges come, you are consider a loser to the opposite sex, it seems like everybody is getting some (and that´s normal according to our TV culture) but you aren´t.. then you are browsing the net and you see this girl naked.. you feel quite curious, you click, then you see this asian girl putting a penis in her mouth... something you would´ve never thought about but hell... it gets you really hard.. you can no longer bear with it.. you masturbate...it feels the best strongest feeling you have ever had..

now your mind assotiates that great pleasurable moment to that scene.. stuck forever in your subconcious, and from there on it becomes a habit

Understand that this is a chemical addiction (due to all the chemicals your brain releases during masturbation, through its biochemical nature it reflect cocaine addiction), not just a harmless habit.

That is why in my life I have seen friends and family members die and lose everything from Alcohol and Cocaine addiction...

Great post OP. I was an atheist for most of my life, and in that time I had no reservation looking at pornography, some of which did push the limits for me even then. When Jesus came for me and showed me he is real, I knew I had to dump it immediately and I did, and frankly, I don't even miss it. What I didn't realise though, is that there are spiritual ramifications. Now that I've discovered that God's laws are universal, I've learnt that because you are lusting over them in your heart, you have committed adultery in God's eyes with every one you've watched in porn. This forms a soul tie between you and them, and does massive spiritual damage to you and opens conduits for the agents of Satan to inhabit you. I don't care if no believes this, it is still the truth.

If you are a believer in Jesus Yah'shua, you need to immediately STOP looking at any level of pornography. You need to confess and repent of these sins, and in Jesus name cut, burn, sever and destroy all ungoldy soul ties made between you and any person you have lusted/ masturbated over from the beginning of time to this present day. Ask God to 're-boot' your whole sex drive and function to the way he made you to be, and focus your sexuality only on your married partner.

Lucifer on the other hand wants you to watch porn, do porn, have promiscuous sex, have homosexual sex, anything as far from what God commands us to do as possible. This is why in Satanism sex is a huge focus, so Satan can destroy you and lead you in to the lake of fire that he already knows he himself is condemned to. And it works well, because it is like a drug, but it does do you massive damage and will bring your house down.
