For the first time ever, I am truly afraid

Well I'm anonymous AND a coward sooooo I got nothin.

that time of the month?

Some say doom, some say enlightenment. I truly have no idea, but my switch was turned on 9-10-11 and to this day there is no other thing that has occupied my thoughts more than that something is coming. If nothing happens, then I have alot of catching up to do around the house.

Dont be afraid! Be vigilant and prepared but do not be afraid! Whatever happens will happen and the best you can do is be strong for your girls! If you feel you need more then just reassuring words (most people do;) ) then reach out! There are people out there who can give you advice on preparing for ANY situation! Good Luck and I do hope you start feeling better soon!

Everyone is afraid for their children's future. There are job shortages that won't improve because there are too many immigrants and not enough to go around. Too many immigrants, to many illegals, too much outsourcing, to many work visas issued. They won't do a damn thing to fix the education system or make it easier for their own kids to get higher education. Instead, they turn everyone against wach other and force them into low paying jobs that barely cover the expenses. It is a dog eat dog world
Not only that but the morals of today's society is at an all time low. Violence, greed, pervertion, excess is what today's society believes in.

mind if i ask why 9/10?

I am actually a member at a few other forums, and many of us are having really bad feelings like something is going to happen and soon. Many of us found ourselves preparing for God only knows what, the good thing is I always prep for the winter months so me just buying some extra things and adding it to our winters supply doesn't really make much difference but its like the closer we get to whatever it is the stronger the feeling gets. Still we don't know what it is but we all are preparing for something and just don't know what it is. Its like God is telling us to be ready.

You are obviously a strong woman and you will come through all this too!

Reach out to friends and family. I imagine you have been supportive of many of them over the years, so allow them to be supportive of you right now.

Try not to worry so much. Just sit still and watch the world go by. We're definitely living in very tough times and the future doesn't look so bright. But maybe something wonderful will happen. Stay positive. :)

Don't live in fear,we have never known what might happen from day to day,that hasn't changed.
All this fear mongering is getting to you,at this point I am amused by most of it.
I am disgusted by those in power who are harming us by poisoning our food,water and skies,that pisses me off quite a bit!
Bullies always get what they deserve and I have faith that they will get back a hundred times what they dish out.

I dont think its so much about deserving that... I cant really explain what it is that I think.. I havent been able to really put into words what I feel or what i think will happen. All i know is that when I trust in my gut feeling, my intuition- things go better, much smoother then when i ignore it.

To tell the truth, dates meant nothing at the time. I just happened to pull a receipt outta my pocket a few months later and saw the date. That day I spent over 2k on preps. No idea why. Just a gut panic.

Don't be afraid. Nothing bad can happen to you in a cosmic sense. There are only situations.

You do realize our collective thoughts create our future/destiny, right?
So if anything happens, I will hunt ya down and smack the bejesus outta ya for making me die relatively young.

Thats interesting.. have you ever had a de'ja-vu moment around a year after the "memory"? (I dont know if that makes sense but im giving it a shot lol) I have had that feeling before and it actually helped me sort some things out! I wonder if this was some kind of early intuition for future events (say around this time) to help prepare you for something now? It may sound like a stretch but I have experienced this before firsthand and the closer time came to the "event" in my life the more synchronicities happened that reminded of something about a year before..

It`s between you and Jesus, this is all that matters. Ask him to forgive all you feel uneasy about and he will.

From there, walk with the lord every day in your heart and you will feel his security and comfort. Ask of him to keep with you on the beautifull journey of life. In short make him your very best friend.

You may be fearing his coming return which is drawing near. The word is written and the future events will unfold as told and it`s not going to be pretty.

I believe we are right on the cusp of the great tribulation

but ...

if you have lived your life for others then be of good cheer and have peace in the knowledge that you have followed the second greatest commandment .....love your neighbor as yourself

the best commandment to follow is the greatest commandment

Love The Lord your God with all your heart , mind and soul and in doing so you will have followed the second greatest commandment anyways...

But if you don't love God with all you heart , mind and soul then atleast follow the second greatest commandment and at the day of judgement you will be judged according to your works towards other human beings ...

Just read Matt 25 and Jesus describes the second resurrection.....the resurrection of the dead ....they are then judged at the white throne judgement according to their works

You should speak to your husband and discuss you fears with those that the pair of you brought into the world. If you husband works hard and provides for you and your child(ren) you should not have too much to fear.

Obviously if you are one of the many millions of single parents unable to select a faithful, good provider before bringing another life into this world, you have every reason to fear for the future.

A planet with 7 billion mouths, all vying for very limited resources is a scary prospect. With 40+ million Americans unable to feed themselves... "Houston, we have a problem..."

The outlook for human beings does not look good, especially so when it is finally acknowledged that the financial system collapsed some time ago and been on unsustainable life-support for quite a few years now.

Gather your family close, do whatever you can to prepare for the rough ride ahead. It might be that the first to die are the lucky ones!

Yeah, I've been extremely nervous for the last few days. Can't sleep at all, and just know it's all finally about to start.

Same is being reported by so many friends there's no doubt about the fact something is already going on and anyone with any sensitivity can tell that by their gut.

I hear ya sister. Have faith that you have done all that you can do. I used to tell my boys the things I beleived in very subtule ways. You know kids they don't listen if you hit them over the head with it. But I used to worry, that I didn't do enough for them. Now that they are grown. They remember those things.I still haven't found anyone that I can talk to about the impending doom. But maybe I was meant to travel this journey on my own. I cut T.V. out of my life about 2 years ago. And very seldom listen to the trash they call music,anymore, so I've had a lot of time to ponder things with my GLP partners. Take Heart, and know that we all go through the journey, the same way we came into the world. I also know that I have a loving God on my side and know how the story ends.
