My neighbor layed around for 7 months and never did he ever try and find a job. He worked in the coal mines and they were new mines hiring at the time. He absolutely hated it when he was called back.

Ive heard several people state "Ive paid for it" or " I pay taxes and UI". Yes employees pay taxes but not UI. I am a business owner, I pay the UI premiums which are 9.4% of an employee's quarterly wages .Not one penny comes from an employees pocket.
Just another premiums as is workers compensation,commercial activity tax, We also have to match your medicare and s.s. taxes on your wages.

I know of three people going to school and working full time.
