Have You Experienced A Weird Phone Call asking for "The Navigator"?

Hi all,

Not sure why I am prompted to post this but here goes:
Guess I'm overly too curious by nature ...
..but I received and had a weird phone call experience a while back that still bothers me to this day . Curious mainly..
I wish to know if any of you ever had this type of call, or know of others who may have received the call.

It was rather weird. At the time, I did not have caller ID and did answer my phone (not these days!). But a man said some things that I cannot remember then asked if I was "The Navigator". He said other things again, that I cannot remember but it was a weird conversation.

I told him politely, "Ummm...Nooo , (I was kind of taken aback at this conversation tbh) that I wasn't the Navigator, that had the wrong number etc. but he was rather insistent , saying something along the lines that I was , -said he thought I was..blah blah (how I wish I could remember the actual wording he used.)

But anyway, lol for some reason this weird call popped into my mind again - thought I take a jab and post to see if , by chance, there are others that had this call/ experience.

Have you had this call? Who is it that asks for "The Navigator"? I'm NOT a pilot ...but who or what company would ask that question?

I need help to figure this one out ..
