Think only on those things that are in line with your principles and can bear the light of day. The content of your character is your choice. It is used in the transportation industry to bring awareness to unsafe procedures. Near miss reports are compiled and studied to change standard operating procedures to create a safer work environment. They are an effective tool. As a ship master in the maritime industry my company requires my vessel to submit 2 near misses per month. Regardless of what they might be. |
