ARE BB GUNS ANY GOOD FOR DEFENSE???

he must mean one of those guns that are almost like a mini gun. they would actually seriously tear someone to shreds. i think they can shoot like over 1000 bbs a minute.

screw it i tell you what, just get one of these...

If the BB Gun interests you, you should look into other weapons in the same class.

I would say sling shot, but the sling shot might actually kill someone with the right object loaded into it.

Spitwads are about as good

Darts, once again would probably be a move up in class.

water balloons might get their attention and be in the same class as the b b, that is unless you load a much ore deadly liquid in them, and then it would also move up a class in defense.

a frisby might really smart like a bb.

Throwing your shoe would also be about the same

most wasp spray cans have 30 foot range so you get the nest.

at $4 per can, yeah, one in each room is easy

and it can be lethal. it will stop someone now sprayed in the face.

Yea, so true. I understand what you mean. A little lady with a mean looking pistol that shoots BB's would probably get me killed.
I just thought it would incapacitate an intruder, at least while i ran with my stiff painful knee.

We were talking about "a big can of....." so I made reference to why it would be good, that being said it can and should be anything at hand. What is near everybody's front door? Maybe an umbrella, a cane, a whatever that you can use to distract the intruders eyes, for that split second, knowing your next move is the difference.

Would you consider a blow gun? I have one and it is a lot of fun. Some of the darts are four inches long...then of course they have little plastic ball tips on them too.

You can get very accurate. It is very silent. You can dip the points in peanut butter and hope they are allergic to peanuts!

Precisely why my conceal carry instructor instructed us to shoot to kill . Not Hurt or injur . Because then you really just pissed somebody off that obviously wasnt giving much of a fuck to begin with.

Not only that but you leave yourself open to lawsuit for malicious injury because if you were shooting < bb gun or otherwise > simply to injur you obviously didnt believe your life was in danger.

On top of that . I got shot in the eye when I was 20 and a single stream of blood flowed from my eye. It mad me mad EXTREMELY mad. The only thing that stopped me from destroying the guy that did it was it was an accident . If I'd been an intruder in your house and you shot me in the eye? Seeing I'd already be a bad guy in that instance I woulda crammed that bb gun up your ass sideways.

Get a gun , a real gun . And aim center mass. It would suck having taken someones life but . I always say " better you than me "

they sell high powered air rifles chambered in .357, .45, and .50 calibers (do a search on them). Hit a crook in the chest with that and it's curtains for him.

Ok , Obviously you didnt like the real gun suggestion. Id say go with bear spray. It will blind and incapacite a bear. A human stands no chance and it wont kill or mame them

There are pellet guns that shoot 22 cal. pellets that travel at the same velocity as a 22 rifle and are much quieter. Great for hunting small game or you could kill a person to with a well placed shot.

Just get yourself a ruger 10/22. I used to have bb wars all the time so no theu aren't painfull enough for self defense unless you can aim perfectly in the eye.

I have a Stoeger X-20 .177 pellet rifle that has 1200 FPS and this break barrel pellet rifle will fucking kill a human with a well placed shot. Blows the brains right out of ground hogs, rabbits, and coons.

get the redrider bb gun with a compass in the stock... just remember north will be south and south will be north. dont shoot your eye out.
