If something were actually going down, military, LEO, and intelligence spouses would be the LAST to know as would be rank and file officers.

Most officers and enlisted folks as well as state and local cops do not have the clearances to know any 'official' scuttlebutt.

As a side note, my friends, not uncles lol, have told me that 250 soldiers in the army (coming from all over WV) where trained on riot control for 4 days last week. This is definitely not the norm.

Oh, I could definitely see rioting. With 8.5 million no longer 'in the workforce', 4 million on welfare, 46 million on food stamps and our country borrowing 4.8 billion a day, I could see rioting.

Even if I were not an author and researcher on related topics of interest, the rumors I have heard from MIL and INT types in recent years is sci-fi level doom. Millions are convinced that even if nothing "legit" were going to happen naturally, this end of the Mayan calendar date on December 21 is prime time for false flag events from governments/elites to start apocalyptic depopu1ation.

Even without that happening, the ability of western economies to spend into infinite oblivion will end soon. And with over seven billion humans striving for better lives, we will also run out of a host of crucial metals and minerals that allow the production of technological devices. Not to mention the petroleum that energizes the world and fertilizes farm production beyond normal levels. If nothing is done very soon, we could have eight billion people one year and one billion or less a year or two later when food production stalls, economies collapse, and wars erupt in desperation.

While I don't assume the world is ending in 2012, recent articles claiming that a new Mayan calendar find disproves imminent doom is just ignorant of the problems mentioned above, and of Mayan culture - or worse, is intentionally deceptive.

The Maya believe that there have been four previous worlds destroyed and recreated before ours. With all the evidence of pole shifts and past civilizations, it would not be surprising if cosmic disasters come in regular, predictable cycles. Read Charles Hapgood or Paul LaViolette. If there are cycles of destruction, then of course the Mayan calendar has dates beyond the next problem - it happens again and again and whoever survives sees the next year and starts rebuilding.

The Maya did believe that at the end of their calendar's Long Count (a 5125 year cycle ending 12/21/2012) creation Lord Bolon Yokte would descend to Earth.

This may be the only event specifically referenced by the Maya. You might say that means they didn't expect anything eventful to happen - no doom - if you didn't think it out any further. But to them, that's like when Jesus Christ comes back. Their culture, their myth - forecasts a bit of doom when creation lords come back to destroy and recreate the world. They didn't need to give more detail because everyone in their culture understood. Like if we said a certain day is Judgment Day, and future foreigners unfamiliar with that phrase or what it meant to us merely assumed we expected to be judged in court, with no specific mention of civilization-ending doom. It's implied.

Personally, I think both the Maya and the Bible have astronomical references that clue us in to how the skies look in December 2019. Heavenly bodies act out the steps in an ancient Jewish wedding ceremony in late 2019. Who might come back for His bride for that heavenly wedding ceremony? Could the 7 year tribulation start with a Middle East war this December in 2012? Check
