Dont know where this was but December 3rd to 9th quantico has a noise advisory these are the type of booms I hear living near Quantico.

Yup I live in Stafford Im in Florida right now but I keep up with the noise advisorys. Because it was a clear day there the sound is just extremely amplified not much to worry about.

Its clearly Quantico thanks to the weather they are louder check there website and you will find all the info.

All 'boom' reports including this one have mechanical sounds. Only people make mechanical sounds. Frackers are all over the country. Why they're choosing to do this at night is anyone's guess. Could be avoiding public outrage which is a pretty good assumption.

I live here and they do this all the time. Its called Training. It happens about every week and we get booming all day and night :) They are testing bombs on the base.
