actually there is 0% chance of impact but thanks for alarming everyone

Could it give the asteroid just a little nudge so it slams into antarctica? It won't take much and it is in the same time frame. Possibly the asteroid will pass the 'thing' before calling on earth. Your thoughts? Thanks I assume by thing you mean the satellites? Their mass is negligible in terms of perturbations, and because the asteroid is already so close to earth by then it would take a lot of delta v to make it hit. Contrary to what you might think, the closer it gets to perigee, the more it would take to nudge it onto a collision course. Would the satellites have the opposite affect Astromut to alter the trajectory if it hit it ,or in other words what kind of "hit" would it take to alter the direction even by a millimeter .
