Well it's just a theory backed by math and using all the available clues in the bible. But think about all that needs to happen until it can be fulfilled, like the new temple must be built, on the site of Dome of Rock, Islams 2nd holiest site, a majority must agree to take a universal id number, wars, famines, pestilences, and etc...It might take longer than many on here think. Time will tell.

we are the temple, and we are to prepare our temple to be indwelt with the Holy Spirit, and Christ to enter us. The temple is already here within the bride.

Jesus said nothing about rebuilding the Jewish temple, for the third time, the Jews rejected him. Jehovah order it's destruction by the Roman army in 70 bce.

I can guarantee the following to be correct, having verified it myself.

In 1972, the Watchtower described itself as "the modern-day "prophet"".

"So, does Jehovah have a prophet to help them, to warn them of dangers and to declare things to come?

IDENTIFYING THE "PROPHET"

These questions can be answered in the affirmative. Who is this prophet? ... This "prophet" was not one man, but was a body of men and women. It was the small group of footstep followers of Jesus Christ, known at that time as International Bible Students. Today they are known as Jehovah's Christian witnesses. ... Of course, it is easy to say that this group acts as a "prophet" of God. It is another thing to prove it. The only way that this can be done is to review the record. Thus this group of anointed followers of Jesus Christ, doing a work in Christendom paralleling Ezekiel's work among the Jews, were manifestly the modern-day Ezekiel, the "prophet" commissioned by Jehovah to declare the good news of God's Messianic kingdom and to give warning to Christendom." Watchtower 1972 Apr 1 pp.197-199 'They Shall Know that a Prophet Was Among Them'

What did they mean, they would know a prophet was among them.

From the Watchtower

“According to trustworthy Bible chronology six thousand years from man’s creation will end in 1975, and the seventh period of a thousand years of human history will begin in the fall of 1975 C.E.” —Life Everlasting – In Freedom of the Sons of God, 1966, p. 29

DGN, since the Watchtower claimed to be a Prophet and world did not end in 1975

Is the watchtower a true or false prophet ?

The Watchtower chronology is correct, we are now 6,037 years into the 'seventh' day. No date is given regarding Armageddon. The term 'prophet' means spokesman, it may or may including prophsying. The WTBT society has never claimed to prophesy because all miraculous gifts expired when the bible was complete and provided all needed knowledge.
"Love never fails. But whether there are [gifts of] prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will be done away with. 9 For we have partial knowledge and we prophesy partially; 10 but when that which is complete arrives, that which is partial will be done away with." 1Cor13:8
