Strange things happening here in Louisiana.. here is a post I ran across on Facebook. I don't know where else to place this so if its the wrong place Admin, please move. Thank you. :

Early this morning Lil after midnight and again at 2ish in the morning in the Cecilia, Grand Anse, Henderson area residents, including myself were awakened with loud booms, like bombs exploding. Force was so great shook houses in the surrounding areas mentioned, including mine. St. Martin Sheriff Dept. Notified by myself as well as lots of other residents. St. Martin deputy I spoke to also felt the 2nd blast, he told me it shook his entire unit, while on the premises of Cecilia High school. Fire dept. And Sheriff Deputies searched areas, but found nothing to my knowledge. This has occurred regulary over the past 3 days. Blast are going off in the area strong enough to shake houses. Any idea what is going on??? People of this small community are scared and want answers.
There are small oil rigs around the area, but I have heard what u would call a blow out or blow off from a rig and this is much louder.
What gets me is; why doesn't the Sheriff's Office know what's going on? If is some kind of testing I would think the proper authorities would have been informed. Also, I was an Airman in the Navy and worked less than a 1/4 mile from the Blue Angels Hangar….I know what sonic boom sounds like and this ain't it.

No proof whatsoever of that statement, I'm not a shill, but I highly doubt that magma is in the area, let alone igniting methane, butane or insane.

Ill post this on the other boom-in-the-night threads too.

New Madrid, before Midnight:
[link to folkworm.ceri.memphis.edu]

New Madrid, after Midnight:
[link to folkworm.ceri.memphis.edu]

Plus, there is a shit ton of low level frequency showing up for about 4 hours this evening. The same weird anomaly that has been around now off and on for 8 days.

And if the GOM is connected by faults thru the New Madrid and over thru SC, AND up thru the St Lawrence (Jack Reed), it would make perfect sense why this is stuff is being heard in LA, SC, IN, OH & VA tonight. All at once.

I'm about 50 miles NE of Henderson and I heard muffled booming last night around that time. No shaking, but definitely booms.
Henderson is in ST Martin parish which connects to Assumption and a corner of West Baton Rouge parishes.
Not far from the sinkhole.

If they try drilling there again with the instability of the sea bed, it will not turn out well.

Was visiting a neighbor when a 12 inch water main collapsed along the street in their front yard. It sounded like a huge explosion, shook the house too. Ran outside and found a new "creek" running in their front yard. We decided to take the jonboat and go for a ride. . .

Oh there's plenty of insane down there in LA, no doubt about that. Whether it's directly related to the sinkhole is another debate, although most everything down there in the swamps is inbred anyway :)

I live very near to that area and can confirm the boom about two weeks ago and another a few nights ago... The last one made my brick house shake... Woke my entire family and we ran outside, couldn't find any reason as to what was the cause. I'm going to keep my suspicions in red alert

maybe they're planting bombs underground and then blowing them up as a means to destablilize the crust, and perhaps trigger the new madrid fault. who knows man.

The hazmat unit is in the area. You have H2S gas. The whole area has destabilized. The area in and around that sinkhole for 2oo miles is at risk. All the Caverns are in some state of collaspe. They have been removing everything from all of them. You don't start to use the Nations Oil Supply or move it without a damn good reason.

Follow your heart. I know you sense danger. Get yourself and your loved ones out of there. A house is just a roof. You will never sleep well again. Get out of there until you get some questions to answers you can live with.

That area is peobably the worst area in the entire world right now to be. Not kidding. Get out. Get out now.

Read all the threads about the Sinkholes. Then for sure I know you will leave. Print them all out and give them to your neibors. Warn everybody. Do It.
