And they should know that new oil rig is just going to make things worse. They should just leave things be and get ready. And it's ironic too 'Cause what we tend to do Is act on what they say And then it is that way~Jem. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 15456734 Australia 12/09/2012 05:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey Huck'. The folks on Bezerk have been discussing this too. Many of us believe the floor was cracked at Macondo, and never was repaired. That one well was switched (camera feed) for another in a pointles exercise of cover up. Corexit continues to be pumped at deep levels to create a blanket of sorts for the oil lake now centered over the Julia field, near the GoM 'gyre' where a number of currents meet, creating a whirlpool. Interestingly, many new leases at the Julia field are for bottom based pumping stations, rather than floating rigs. Makes sense if a lake exists down there. But the larger picture of the rupture at Macondo is the collapsing of the domes, allowing water ingress, oil travel, and melting methylhydrates. The sink hole at Assumption Parish is a direct result of two years of water and oil ingress, as a cascade collapse of once solid salt structures is in progress. 200 miles in two years. It'll go beyond Louisiana, most likely all the way up to the Great Lakes. There's Edgar Cayces prediction. (and Gordon Michael Scallion's too for that matter.) Did you know they confessed to oil found at the sink hole belonging/matching that of the spill? They said it was cleaned up oil that had been placed in that dome for safe storage..... Sure. |

(Houston, Texas) — Fugro GeoConsulting has been selected for two projects for a total of $591,000 to develop plans for a pressure coring program at locations in the Walker Ridge 313 and Green Canyon 955 areas of the Gulf of Mexico and to develop analytical techniques that help better identify the existence of methane hydrate accumulations. The first project will focus on preparing detailed scientific and operational plans and recommendations for all aspects of a future offshore drilling, determining the hydrate deposit characteristics through electronic measurement, and recovering samples of hydrate under pressure so its characteristics may be more closely studied. The second project, which will receive $147,000, will develop techniques to generate more robust and reliable information on methane hydrate accumulations, including analyzing seismic data to determine how they interact with free gas accumulations. Thank you for this info. The potential for the collapsing salt domes to spread is horrifying. I had not heard about the sinkhole oil match with the ruptured well's oil but it is not surprising. No wonder residents of that area are now barred from attending meetings with Texas Brine. The lack of response from Gov. Jindal is very disappointing especially since he was all over this situation at the beginning. Hope you will post updates on the Macondo fiasco and its implications. THIS SHOULD BE PINNED!
