Can a Born Again Christian be a Methamphetamine User?
What does the Bible say about Christians using hard drugs?

Can a Christian be born again and occasionally use drugs?

Can a Christian drink Alcohol?

Can a Christian take prescription medication that causes hallucinogenic side effects and still be saved?

Should Christian parents administer serotonin reuptake inhibitors for treatment of ADHD?

Does this go against Scripture?

True repentance means you will stop doing those things.

God is not stupid. God knows what you're thinking and doing at all times. Trying to trick God is retarded.

Well pretty much if you believed in that it says you wouldn't want to do those things because you would be to busy praying and preaching and learning the bible.

Re: Can a Born Again Christian be a Methamphetamine User?
Actually, nowhere in the bible does it say not to do any of that.

Wine is given as the blood.

God gave us ALL fruit bearing plants for our consumption (Yes, the cocoa plant and Marijuana were God given, don't argue that. Most drugs are plant extracts of some kind anyhow).

I would never personally treat ADHD with SSRIs or MAOIs. They dilute the mind. Aderall is a much better choice, I know this as I take it for my ADHD (21 here).

Christians who tell you God will not forgive you for your sins are idiots and not true Christians. A weakness for sins of the flesh is fine as long as you understand it's wrong and don't revel in your sin. Feeling sorrow and desiring atonement is enough when you have sinned.

But using alcohol and drugs is not a sin. It's just something most Christians disagree with because they're closed-minded.

Yes, a Christian can drink alcohol.

Even Jesus transformed water into wine, not into milk or somthing else.

A lot of Christian cults do the mistake to use must for comunion.

A REAL Christian needs to drink wine at comunion.
Wine is a symbol for Jesus' blood.

In my OPINION / what I understand from the bible:
You can eat/drink anything you want, but you should not be dependend.

Same for alcohol, once you are dependent (an alcoholic) you have a problem!
Same for drugs and anything else.
Even for coffee.

Dependnce is the problem.
When your heart is tied there (alcohol, drugs) more than to Jesus Christ / God and his holy word!

We are meant to build our bodies up and use them to glorify God and all his creation. I struggled with drug addiction for the longest time, but finally came to the realization that it is not of the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body.

Yes it is.
The Book of Hallucinations-excised from the Bible by Constantine-specifically forbids coffee, tea (sorry all you Poms), cocoa with milk, chocolate biscuits and sex with marsupials under the influence of LSD.
However Johnny Walker (Black and Blue labels only) and fine Cuban cigars are permissible.
Blessings upon you brother.

Yes.
For the best results a young member of the church of Latter Day Saints gives a full range of minerals and vitamins.
Krishna worshippers make fine condiments and are a good substitute for salt and pepper.
Bless you brother.

If it alters the mind, or an unclean food, it is not wise. Satan will take advantage of the situation.

Jesus turned the water into grape juice not alcoholic wine. Even when on the cross as the Roman guards offered Jesus a strong drink he refused.

What happens is the Holy Spirit cannot occupy a temple under the influence.

Cant read the Bible all stoned and expect any help from the Holy Spirit.

Gn 9:20 And Noah began to be an farmer, and he planted a vineyard:

9:21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.

9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers without.

9:23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it on both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.

9:24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done to him.

9:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.

9:26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

9:27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

9:28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

You'd think God would tell his followers that OP is a cynical mocker.
But no.
Doesn't seem to tell them much of anything except what was written in a Buk two and a half thousand years ago.
