So many unanswerable questions. Could Christ perform his works of redemption if he came to earth in the form of a pea? (thank you, Duns Scotis). Or, more importantly...

Can Blue Men Sing the Whites Or Are they Hypocrites?

Re: Can a Born Again Christian be a Methamphetamine User?
meth will definitely make you more egoic, demonically influenced and separate from God...

herb, mushrooms, peyote, etc can have the same effect but don't always... it is a very good question as to why these substances are here...

maybe they were not always hallucinatory... some of walter veith's work on evolution shows clear signs of a fall and devolution, for example, bee stingers were once reproductive organs, animals do not live as long, etc...

103 - Bones in Stones / Genesis Conflict - Walter Veith

[link to www.youtube.com]

even "natural" substances are a slippery slope easily abused...

shamans use them to access spirit world knowledge... this is demonic, generally... see Johanna Michaelsen for more on this...

BUT we are all imperfect and need to ask for forgiveness...

and we are forgiven when asked...

short answer: yes

Re: Can a Born Again Christian be a Methamphetamine User?
btw--if you are a meth user and cannot stop, try praying the Lords prayer 2-3 times per day... and asking in Jesus' name for all demonic attachments that might be associated with it to be removed...

and ask God for help...

be patient... it can take a while for the effects to kick in... this may have something to do with your vibratory state being at a certain place for a long time and that it will gradually rise, but it does eventually kick in and will remove all kinds of compulsions you take for granted now...

don't be too harsh on yourself if you relapse... just keep praying...

Yes, He sure will forgive anything and as evidence, he gives you brand new godly desires that you practice...doesn't mean you don't fall into sin now and then, it takes time to grow into maturity.... but If you've truely been saved, OVER TIME, the Holy Spirit changes old habits to new godly ones.

No drugs, no pork or anything unclean.

Proverbs 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
 Quoting: - 29002615

this is true, but its old testament.

Christians can not lie and change the fact that Jesus changed the water into wine.

I have had many baptists say "well he didnt drink it" or it wasnt like todays wine.

But to that I respond with if he didnt want them drinking it he wouldnt have changed it into wine, and that your right it was different than today, It was stronger.

To drink wine is one thing, to become drunk is not acceptable to God according to his word.

Using drugs that are taken to alter ones mind or to get a rush or to encourage an addiction would be against gods word and would require repentance and to ask for forgiveness.

Someone posted up above that you can do whatever you want and then just ask forgiveness, that is a lie from hell.

Repentance means to stop doing, if you just keep asking forgiveness and then just keep going back and doing it anyway, you never Repented, and therefore you are offering empty vain words to God therefore you are sinning and in danger of Judgment.
What are the facts?

 Quoting: Morganite

He does not change old bad habits into new godly ones.

If a person is seeking god, and is truly following him, they will be condemned in their heart for sinning against god. You will feel it deep down when you sin against him and his holy word. you will know, and you will stop or try your hardest to stop.

Alot of times the mistake is made by Trying OUR HARDest to stop, its not up to us, we have to hand it over to God, the hOly spirit.

Just remember that when Jesus died on the cross, he defeated that sin, he defeated Satans dominion over you, its already defeated and he has control over it, not Satan, just rest in that and begin to live as a biblical Christian would.

Dont look to peter popoff or any other TV minister that pretends to be a christian, refer to the lives of the saints in the new testament as a pattern for your life.

There is no Christian pothead, prostitute, rock bands, homosexuals or meth heads. Just sinners who need to repent. It is good they claim to know Jesus but still they will need to repent of this or any other SIN.

Re: Can a Born Again Christian be a Methamphetamine User?
What does the Bible say about Christians using hard drugs?

Can a Christian be born again and occasionally use drugs?

Can a Christian drink Alcohol?

Can a Christian take prescription medication that causes hallucinogenic side effects and still be saved?
 Quoting: xev 3767410

Yes, a Christian can drink alcohol.

Even Jesus transformed water into wine, not into milk or somthing else.

A lot of Christian cults do the mistake to use must for comunion.

A REAL Christian needs to drink wine at comunion.
Wine is a symbol for Jesus' blood.

In my OPINION / what I understand from the bible:
You can eat/drink anything you want, but you should not be dependend.

Same for alcohol, once you are dependent (an alcoholic) you have a problem!
Same for drugs and anything else.
Even for coffee.

Dependnce is the problem.
When your heart is tied there (alcohol, drugs) more than to Jesus Christ / God and his holy word!

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29395771

Lmao, they used alcohol back then because they didn't have the transportation system to keep tings like juice and other liquids good for long periods of time. Wine on the other hand is stable for a while.

What about Caffeine?

Caffeine is a stimulant. Is it against scripture?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3767410

how bout you ask yourself these questions. do these things serve your higher purpose? medication can have its uses but when it becomes habitual there can be problems. you do not need permission from someone else whether it be god or someone pretending to know what god does or does not approve of. you have all the information you need. anyone who says different is trying to take your power.

I think God wants us to enjoy everything he gave us.

Does that mean we should try everything on earth? Nope

Does he wants us enslaved to those things he gave us? Nope

God wants us to love everyone just as we love ourselves. If you have 2 coats give a homeless man one, 2 pairs of shoes give em a pair of shoes.

God wants us to enjoy things but help each other 2. Most people, FALSE Christians included, forget this. They are selfish, greedy, narcissistic, and worried about how others view them.

Personally I don't care what anyone thinks of me, the bible says in many places No man will judge me, God will.

God wants us to enjoy things but in moderation, so if you obsess on anything, its a sin, alcohol, drugs, sex, clothes, shopping, cars, money, food, anything can be a sin.

But then again I'm a new Christian, I am still learning and reading the bible.

A good thing to remember if you see any preacher, Christian condemning someone for committing a sin take a look at that same person do they sin, do they have a right to judge? I don't, Its our duty as Christians to remind them of what the bible says, don't be judgmental, just remind them.

I don't, I have to worry about me, myself, I must seek personal enlightenment daily, and I must learn daily, I am too busy with my daily activities to worry about anyone else.

After all that's Gods Job. However if you mess with my family, harm us in anyway, or I see you hurting someone else, I will personally see to it you get to meet God a lot sooner than you might have expected!

I may be a Christian but I'm still a Marine too, and I never said I was a good Christian, I said I am still learning! :)

Oh, I use Gods word as my guide for good and evil I am sorry but as a new Christian I didn't see meth in my Bible, can you show me where it states it because I really don't see that?

And God spoke all these words, saying, (Exo 20:1)

"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. (Exo 20:2)

"You shall have no other gods before me. (Exo 20:3)

"You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. (Exo 20:4)

You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, (Exo 20:5)

but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments. (Exo 20:6)

"You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain. (Exo 20:7)

"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. (Exo 20:8)

Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, (Exo 20:9)

but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. (Exo 20:10)

For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. (Exo 20:11)

"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you. (Exo 20:12)

"You shall not murder. (Exo 20:13)

"You shall not commit adultery. (Exo 20:14)

"You shall not steal. (Exo 20:15)

"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. (Exo 20:16)

"You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's." (Exo 20:17)

I do appreciate the help though!

I don't use anything, but I am saying the bible is very specific about the things that we aren't supposed to do even one time.

As for research, I read the bible all the time, like I said I cant find meth in it. as for fueling any war, I think every war has been fought at the agenda of the elites, not directly dependent on any one item. Wouldn't you agree?

Re: Can a Born Again Christian be a Methamphetamine User?
I'm a born again Christian who uses adderall and I have come to know god and his attributes even more on it. The apostle Paul says its pointless to bicker over what to eat or drink, if you trust in Jesus and believe that jesus came to save the world, mot condemn it, that is the only thing which matters

You have to let it go.
The drug is a there to hide the problem.
No you can not be saved while on meth, because you will put meth before your health.
You are the way you are because you are supposed to be YOU.
Meth is a no no.
Bad meth.

You'll be ok. Just quit it.

(Exo 20:10)
