We MUST remember that our purpose in this life is not to please or fulfill our dreams. It is to worship Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. Patience is so difficult but when we remember the real treasure of this life is the happiness that is achieved by being an obedient slave to Allah, it makes patience seem obvious.

I sleep soundly every night not having to worry about any harm that may afflict me other than that of my own sins and trials of the heart.

However Christians and Jews do not dream of aspire to Heaven but to earthly riches and pleasures. There in lies the evil of humanity.
