There is talk of world war happening soon, but the timing isn't right yet.

The major powers are not militarily and logistically ready. Not yet.

They will be ready around March of 2015.

China will have a blue water navy (and an expeditionary army), two operational carriers and a modern air force.

Russia will have all of its forces positioned and prepped adequately by then and will also have NATO in check in northern Europe.

The U.S will also be ready. It will be out of Afghanistan completely and will have completed its Asia pivot.

The battle-lines have already been drawn. The pistol is cocked. Diplomacy will not factor as heavily in 2015 as it does now.

This is because the three powers will practically have each other's balls in a vice. Shipping-lane strangeholds, oil/gas blackmail and brinkmanship. The only way to resolve it will be by force.

And that's how WW3 will begin in earnest.
