Sir Patrick Moore Has Died

Sad as it is it wouldn't surprise me. It seemes alot of people from tv land from when i was a kid are suspects one way or another. I had big respect for them and look what happend.

perhaps a lesser known fact is that he wrote science fiction as a younger man under the sudo-name adamski,,

I saw him once during a lecture about 8 years ago, its a sad lost I do watch Sky at Night a lot.

Stopped watching his show over the last few years but as a kid it was the only tv program that interested me.

This is a conspiracy site right? The whole of the British establishment is collapsing due to sex scandales at the moment. Possibly as part of a wider clear out for the NWO.

In my opinion his political views were questionable.

But he was a great astronomer.

I was always fond of Patrick Moore growing up as a young one and well into my adulthood, an interesting character with the astronomy and xylophone stuff too, not to mention Gamesmaster.

I don't know whether the rumours in relation to him that have been alluded to here are true, I really hope not, and let's face it, heavy black clouds are hanging over all those in the British establishment right now, including people at the BBC, but I'm sad to say it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was true. I don't think anything would surprise me now after the last couple of months.

I have to say, I did start to go off the guy a little maybe about a decade or so ago when he was arrogant enough to proclaim quite outrightly and quite matter of factly (as opposed to it being just his opinion) something along the lines of...

"we are the only people in the universe, and there is no other life out there whatsoever."

I'm totally paraphrasing, but essentially thats what he said when asked about life elsewhere in the universe. All those billions of stars / planets / galaxies, and he can proclaim that? I went right off him at that point and to me it seemed apparent he had his own agenda of some sort to put forth for whatever reason.

I don't think any single one of us can make that proclamation.

Many things about him remind me of a certain sociopath I had the misfortune to know, rotund, and excessively jovial to the outside world - a mask to hide a more sinister side. That's not to say there was a more sinister side to PM, just bad vibes I have, and I really hope there is no truth to any rumours going around, as I'd certainly rather remember him as an eccentric enthusiastic astronomer than the alternative.

This is a conspiracy site, and possible conspiracies should be discussed.

To think I was actually a tad sad on the day I heard about Jimmy Saville dieing mortifies me. Having grown up with him on the TV here, watching him on Jim'll Fix It, and even having the misfortune of meeting him once I can tell you I had no idea, though its clear as an adult with what we now know how much of a wrong 'un he was.
