How stupid is it when being born in a certain spot on the planet and moving to another makes you a criminal. This is not an argument against you, I'm just pointing out the great fallacy that is the "civilized world".

#2 was there an "American" in the area that was a match? (Probably not)
#3 if there was an American in the area and it was a match, was it too late already?

This is so true. I had to have a heart procedure and the hospital didn't hesitate to present me with a $50K bill. I can't even imagine the cost of an actual traansplant.
