My kids have full instructions to leave the school and get away no matter what is occurring. They are never to accept any vaccinations from anyone. Even if a cop shows up.

The only time my husband got the flu really badly, was the year he took a flu vaccine. 2 months later, he was sicker than a dog with the flu.

Since then he's never gotten a flu vaccine. AND he has never caught the flu.

So as long as he does not get a flu vaccine, he should be okay.

I do not get flu vaccines, I use flu nosodes (homeopathic spray). I have never had the flu in my 40+ years of life, and I have just started using nosodes since 2008.

Here are a few comments, and I know this is a touchy subject for many on this site, so don't start hyperventilating

I don't think the gov't should be able to give your child a shot without notification. Having said that, I and my kid, now 18 had all shots growing up without incident. My girl just went to the hospital 10 days ago and was asked if she wanted flu and pnumo shots, and she got them. SHE DID GET some sickly feelings, fluish. Went in for an ulcer type thing. Anyway, it was nothing serious and could have been after effects of a lotta pain and anestetics use, so I can't say whether the shots gave her anything.

Normally they only have a sore spot on the arm, and take 2 weeks to fully start working. Bad as flu is this yrs, I should get one, but I never do. The exception was the h1n1 panflu thing. I took my kids out of school at the time till the SHOTS were in this area.

I also attended a few pandemic conferences in Wash,DC. 1 for bird flu and 1 for the 2009 swineyflu deal. That had a lot of people nervous because there was not a direct certainty how serious it would be. There is a chance that it could meld with bf as any flu could, which would be bad. The new coronavirus is goin down and they are shitting their pants on that and lying thru the teeth all the live long day. There will not be a vaccine for that.. for a long time.

I am not into the gov't making my kids get a shot, but if there was a major outbreak of intentional disease we are familiar with, like an anthrax attack or smallpox or plague or some shit, you would know of it and you would get the shot in your car in a drive thru type situation.

Flu's do change every year and by the time they made this yrs flu shot, it may not be an actual match to what is going around, but they use more than 1 strain and it does provide some protection. By protection I mean a weaker effect on you. They base this yrs strain on projections on what was going around in asia last winter usually.
There is also a new strain that is being caught straight from pigs and has started doing some h2h. The h3n2 pigstain flu. Farmers and people that handle pigs and their contacts mostly so far.

1 site implied to be antivaccine site is actually a good site for vaccine news that actually shows good effects from vaccine use.

dr buckwild sells books and is a main anti vaccine dr, that is the main reference for scare monger sites.

These are only my opinions and I am sure some will never be persuaded to think otherwise, so keep the flaming to a minimum. When there is an actual emergency of some kind of disease that there is a vaccine for, you and kids will be in a line, or they may deliver it by mail, or at a drive thru. These things were discussed at the meetings. If not, you will have to completely isolate till there is one and that could be a long time. Buy beans and rice and canned meat and other med supplies.
