we'll be reading LOTS of different excuses from all the new age sources over the next couple of weeks..

after making such a huge deal about 2012 for the past decade, and promising ascension, psychic awakening, first contact, mass arrests BY THE END OF 2012, it is going to be a huge disappointment for most of their followers if nothing obviously changes this year... you can only tell people "the change has BEGUN" or is "IMMINENT" so many times before they become disillusioned.

I've already seen several sources pushing the date into mid-late 2013, or further... meanwhile, the economy edges closer to collapse, the environment deteriorates into ruin, the government becomes more corrupt, and thousands of children continue to starve or get sold into slavery every day.... but hey, don't focus on THAT! Just think happy thoughts and create your own reality and everything will magically become better.... SOON!

The new 2012 is 2023, Preston Nichols said so in his interview with Kerry Cassidy. Other dates I've come across are 2038 and 2050. If you think this doomsday/ascension-date merry-go-round will stop at the end of this year, forget it.

What do you mean what happened to that? You think that description of reality is somehow incompatible with the end of some kind of astrological cycle?
