Ah, yes, now you're getting somewhere... Earth's magnetic field being artificially modulated, and no less than right in front of our collective noses while we stare blinded and confused.

But frequency is just one of the parameters. The brain discards most external wave patterns that cause destructive interference with its natural functioning. Find the right patterns that brain will not discard and you can override its functions. Temporarily, at least... and in theory, as theory doesn't work if you are aware of what is happening and can shift you patterns accordingly. It also seems that some 'far, far away' have known of this for a very, very long time and had engineered themselves to become 'unreadable'. You may try to scan them, but the model just keeps falling apart, like trying to make sense of an encrypted message without having the right key.

We, however, can be pushed into spouts of fear, mania and even outright destruction and mass murder (a.k.a 'justified wars') with a single push of a button, but only operations done on individual scale can produce truly perfect psychopathic killers that we've learn to know and love in our corridors of power.

Who cares what a brain does if your computer system is already set to stop the flow of information. Should a person who does stuff like that, trying to stop the flow of information, be called brain-infected then? It's like having a virus inside one's brain, so I guess it should.
