i figured it out. Crows eat dead things and this one wanted to get one of the them to die in the fight.

Somehow cats are still cute and cuddly, even when they're trying to kill each other. They're just tumbling bundles of fluffiness.

It looked to me like the cats were going to fight anyway and the crow was distracting both of them.

No I think you are right, crow and orange cat were friends/allies - black cat was an intruder into their territory and crow tried to join in the fight.


I used to have a crow as a pet yrs ago - they are very intelligent feisty and bossy critters.

Agree, what is so evil about the crow? Cats are stupid no brain killing machines, only led by insincts. They are infectious vermin, spreading black plague and their toxoplasmose gondii parasite everywhere, lowering the iq of children/people, making them admirers of cats.

Crows are actually one of the most intelligent animals on earth. They have been filmed and documented dropping nuts onto streets and waiting for cars to crack them open. That requires an enormous amount of intelligence to pull off. I'm not sure what the crow in this video was trying to accomplish but it looked like he was just enjoying the fight between two cats and egging it on.

nah it definitely looked like the crow was protecting the yellow cat, trying to stop the black one.

That was my first thought too.. but, my son says the shape of the tail is wrong for it to be a magpie.

Who knows, but that bird wasn't letting the cats get away without giving them what he thought they deserved... looks like the black cat, cuz that's the one that truley took the pecks.. got into the birds nest and killed some young.

Magpie or crow... both are very smart birds and will remember who caused it trouble... and I guess... payback for the cats was a bitch! LOL... nature does get even.
