For instance, health 'guru' Andreas Morritz (recently deceased) stated in a utube vid. that garlic is toxic. Other health folks have echoed this statement. I've always enjoyed it - i feel it's pungent power after ingestion! I'd love to see INDEPENDENT (non-government funded) studies about the constituents and health effects of garlic. The internet is like one huge chinese whisper...i don't believe much of what i read due to it being re-gurgitated info based on some 'government study' - of which i especially don't believe in as many Harvard graduates have admitted to being told to change study results. |

Garlic powder on everything. I also use 2 garlic cloves in my daily juicing recipe! None of my coworkers has complained yet although that may be due to politeness. GLP - "We'll do it live!" Yep - i did exactly that last night - had garlic after weeks of none at all....woke up all foggy headed, slight headache, achy... But it could be a detox effect and not necessarily a poisonous effect. |

Andreas Morritz is pretty good. He's all about the malic acid cleanse. Some people feel that garlic is a true 'medicine' and only to be taken when needed as some studies suggest a tolerance (not unlike seen with antibiotics) happens over time thereby reducing the effectiveness of garlic.
