No offense but no one knows who she is except for the Mexicans . I mean Selena didn't become popular until after her death. So as far as it being breaking news.... We'll uh .....NO

That has nothing to do with being heartless or dismissing her personhood. It is you who cannot seem to separate "unknown" from "heartless" which is a developmental step in rationality normally taken by age 7 or so, when a child begins to understand the world does not revolve around them. Even catholics call it "the age of reason"...for a reason.
