The Prophet Daniel agrees with the Mayan Calendar 2012 end-date

It does not matter what we wish the truth to be. There is only the truth. Many have different names for the truth. We may fight over what name to call it, though the reality stands, it is still the truth.

We all bicker over what the truth is called. This is why only 144,000 will be saved. Your right, it is a sad day.

I can only hope I have done a good enough job describing what was asked of me.

There's a lot of conjecture about the 1290 & 1335 year prophecies.

Earlier in Dn 12 is the 1260 years: "time times and a half" (v. 7) that has been positively identified as the Dark Ages of Rome 538-1798.

12:12 Blessed is he that waits, and comes to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

1798 + 30 = 1828

However, the deadly wound was given in 1798. The papacy was not refounded until 1814 causing a "gap".

1814 + 30 = 1844

1844 is also when the 2300 year prophecy ended (Dn 8:14), the beginning of judgment in the heavenly temple before the Second Coming.

1335 years
1290
..45 years

1844 + 45 = 1889

Others want to move these dates a bit and come up with 1917 the date of the Russian Revolution that apparently was Arabic year 1335.

What else happened in 1917?

The Temple in Jerusalem over the threshing floor which is presently under the Al Kas fountain.

Introduction:

Solomon built the temple on the threshing floor David bought. The Dome of the rock is the highest point of the temple mount. Threshing floors were never built on hills, but in curved valleys, like directly under the Al Kas Fountain. Under the dome of the Rock, was where the Fortress of Antonia stood. In 135 AD, Hadrian filled in about 50 feet of earth over top of where the temple stood and enlarged the temple mount and built a temple of Jupiter where we see the Dome of the rock today. In 325 AD Constantine tore down the Temple of Jupiter and assumed Hadrian built the temple of Jupiter on top of the spot where the temple of Solomon once stood. Constantine built an octagon church on the site. In 700 AD the Muslims found the foundations of Constantine's octagon church and built the dome of the Rock we see today.

Where was the threshing floor on the temple mount?
Tuvia Sagiv's theory focuses on Hadrian building a Temple of Jupiter on the temple mount in 135 AD. Hadrian had built many large scale projects including the Jupiter on the Temple in Baalbek, Lebanon, that is still standing to this day. Sagiv, being an architect by trade, noticed that both the Temple of Jupiter in Baalbek and the Islamic buildings we see on the temple mount today, were almost an exact match in both design and scale. The similarity between a hexagon shaped Jupiter "Forecourt" with the Dome of the Rock and the Jupiter Temple with the Al-Aqsa mosque is nothing short of stunning.

I am still in self debate with this as well, I am just going off the literal right now.

You can't find the dates by using solely the Bible.
It's IMPOSSIBLE!
While the numbers 1335 and 1290 are correct it takes other tools to find the dates.
Basically you need the Bible, you must be able to decipher certain Crop Circles, Dates of recent Comets, Stock Market charts, must know where and how to use the Fibonacci number, dates of Political events, tragedies like 9/11, wars, tsunamis etc...
In other words, it's a monumental task for an individual but it is possible.
So you can try as much as you want, you won't be able to find the dates... GUARANTEED! Unless as I said, you proceed with a thorough research that will take months or years for an individual alone.
I went through it and I have a few answers but I am still far from the real thing. Perhaps with time...

OP, there is no daily sacrifice in Protestantism or Judaism.
When the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is changed including the words of consecration, this is the Abomination of Desolation.

The AOD takes place when the anti-Christ attempts to abolish
the most Holy Eucharist.

continual sacrifice is the mass and the abomination of desolation is when the doctrine of the mass is changed in my church- the Roman Catholic Church. If you study church history, this doctrine of the mass is the one Satan has tried to destroy. From the time of the early church until now. Please read the next comments carefully. In my present church, there is much confusion regarding Vatican II. This is from Satan, not from me. Answer me a question: if the Holy Father calls an ecumenical council with all the bishops of the world and the Holy Spirit is guiding the church, how can that council be of Satan? It was not. The "continual sacrifice" and the "abomination of desolation"
are in the same verses several places in Daniel.

This is a prophecy about the anti-Christ's attempt to abolish
the Eucharist. Our Lord is present in the Eucharist.
