Please remember that the government makes no money, has no wealth, so whoever they hire and whatever salary they make YOU ARE PAYING FOR.

think about driver's licenses, marriage licenses, what are they? they call the money they collect to have worthless pieces of paper "fees," but all they are are taxes with the associated "tax collector" at the motor vehicle and county clerks office. you pay them to take money from you.

could one get married without a license? of course, and people were doing that for centuries before the US was founded. does having a driver's license make you a better or worse driver? could you still drive a car without one?
