Sir Patrick Moore DIES
Sir Patrick Moore died last night at the great age of 89.
he died at home surrounded by friends and family and its reported he passed peacibly in his sleep.
the guy was a true 'icon' of our times.

he was the first to map the moon.
he played the glockenspeil better than any man on earth
he had a great life and shared it with us all

I grew up with Patrick Moore, he was way beyond cool, he was wonderful, and opened the minds of millions of kids to the wonders of the universe, he was a grey haired old geezer back in the 60's when I used to watch him.
He had a good innings and will be missed by millions, hope to see you in the heavens Mr Moore, I bet he is in Astronomer paradise now,all his questions answered, a wonderful guy.yoda
