Quoting: 008-80 This one looks like a good starting point: [link to www.skinnytaste.com] Ingredients: 6 oz can tomato paste 1/4 cup honey (or agave) 1/2 cup white vinegar 1/4 cup water 1 tsp sugar 3/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp onion powder 1/8 tsp garlic powder Directions: Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat; whisk until smooth. When it comes to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and cover until cool. Chill and store refrigerated in a covered container. Good recipe with a caveat: almost all tomato paste has added sugar. Since most sugar today is manufactured from sugar beets and since over 90% of sugar beets grown in the US are GMOs, please use all organic ingredients to insure you are not inadvertently introducing GMOs into your homemade recipes. Remember that almost all corn, canola and cotton seed (oils), soy and sugar beets grown in the US are genetically modified. The only exception you can count on being not GMO are those that are labeled certified organic. Get yourself educated so you can protectmyou and your family from these poisons. be an activated citizen and contact food companies and insist they source a non-GMO replacement for use in their processes. They put there name on the front label organic. They are not organic but for the sheep not knowing any better they would look at the label and think it's organic.
