However, I work in the dairy industry. I visit a lot of dairies. Dairymen care A LOT about their animals. Healthy animals produce milk. Milk pays the bills.

They want nutrient rich feed for their herds. Feed schedules are carefully planned. Most dairies own adjacent land to raise their own crops. They feed fresh crops to their herds.

In recent years, they feed less corn. The price has skyrocketed because of corn fuel production. Hay prices have also gone up.

This is closing many small dairy owners. Monsanto then buys them up.

It's not true. Heinz uses non GMO tomatoes. Just normal hybrids like everyone else grows. (Nothing wrong with hybrids, I'm a hybrid and you probably are too!)

They do use corn syrup, which is probably from GMO corn. Which is why they were against prop 37, because they don't want to switch to the more expensive non GMO corn syrup.

Dont eat tomatoes from a can, due to their high acidity, they break down the BPA in a dramatic way. peace.

Unless you saved seeds from the 70's and have been growing your own since then most food you eat now is probably gmo.

Good recipe with a caveat: almost all tomato paste has added sugar. Since most sugar today is manufactured from sugar beets and since over 90% of sugar beets grown in the US are GMOs, please use all organic ingredients to insure you are not inadvertently introducing GMOs into your homemade recipes.

Remember that almost all corn, canola and cotton seed (oils), soy and sugar beets grown in the US are genetically modified. The only exception you can count on being not GMO are those that are labeled certified organic.

Get yourself educated so you can protectmyou and your family from these poisons. be an activated citizen and contact food companies and insist they source a non-GMO replacement for use in their processes.
