At a distance of just 22,500km this will be the closest asteroid ‘fly by’ in recorded history. Assumption, then. And, here is the biggest problems with assumptions. You are assuming that our global leaders would keep this knowledge a secret, because that's what you would do. Not everyone thinks as you do. That isn't what I would do. No proof but I have heard insider testimony that NASAs operational procedure is NOT to disclose any news of impending danger to the planet as it is feared by the higher ups that societal chaos or collapse would ensue... and they are probably right... If you KNEW 100% that there would be a global coastal event on February 15, 2013... because NASA knew and reported an ocean impact zone... wouldn't your priorities change? my priorities will change as soon as something DOES hit earth and we then have proof that they didn't bother alerting anyone... all deaths occuring from same will be on their hands in that event. period. sooner or later they will have crossed their own eliptic and entered that uncertain territory wherein the hunters become the hunted so to speak hehehe |
