I love pot and all of its recreational and medicinal uses. Ive been smokimg for five years non stop and I say without hesitation, it is addicting and hard to quit....scold me if you will but im just giving my perspective.

you can smoke everyday and still be productive. All it takes is a little self control. 1 or 2 glasses of wine are not going to do anything to you, same with 1 good spliff in the evening. Whenever I hear about people who had trouble because of weed were the ones who smoked all day long, from dusk till dawn.

And drug tests are just fucking barbaric. I can not understand how you free patriotic Americans are ok with having to pee in a cup to proof you are not on some drugs for some lousy job application or even in schools.

Also, unfair statement about all weed users being losers. some successful and creative people that have smoke pot or did when they were once alive that are far from losers.

there was a guy where i worked (telephone company bay area Calif) for 3,4,5 years

he came to work. every day at noon he would light up a roach weed and smoke it. every day. his work output was almost zero. (he must have had some important relative in the company)

he would commute via greyhound bus from Marin County to San Fran and back, probably becuase he couldn't drive safely he was so stoned.

but yet i was fired and he wasn't. ha ha isn't that funny

he transferred to Marin to become a lineman, and I later joked he would probably fall off a telephone pole he was so stoned all the time. ha ha

Not true. I smoked weed back in high school and can't even count how many times I left my bookbag in class because I was too fucking stoned.

No actually, if you got a real look of the average 25-30 pot smoker you'd find most are colleague grads and relatively successful.

I've smoke for a long time since I was 17, when I got a real job that required me to drive vehicles and do life safety I stopped for 8 years cold turkey. Now that I have moved on to a job where people's live don't depending on me I have taken up the hobby again.

I have kids through college and real savings and at night when I feel like chillin out I sit out on my,porch and smoke a bowl so what?

I drink beer to here and there and I run 5ks and exercise regularly I don't see how I'm a burden just because I enjoy my private time.

The vast majority of people who smoke weed then get a job or life style that require there full attention stop. The ones that don't wouldn't not have succeeded regardless of weed or any other substance. If its not one thing it would be another its a matter of self control like anything else that makes you successful in life.
