Go to the hospital today and explain to them what I told you.
The hospital will even fill out papers if there's a need for treatment to try to get you some insurance.
Tell them you have a job, for now, you just want to get checked.

Depends what state you live in. In Minnesota, we have MinnesotaCare for people who can't afford. The program is 20 years old, and we have some of the highest percentage of insured in the country because of this. Check into what health programs your state offers for low income people. It's only a phone call or web search away.

Yes, you will be treated. If they have to admit you and you have no insurance there is usually a social worker on duty that will talk with you and help you get medicaid or otherwise help you.

So sorry for your brother. I had it good when I had private insurance even though it would get more expensive by the year. I think everyone should be able to get healthcare.

Go the the ER as another poster said they will stabilize and treat your symptoms. If after care is needed they can refer you to a clinic or something. Also, you can agree to make payments on bill.

BTW-good luck trying to get any medical help. I can't (I'm 60,white,female,unemployed) and have resigned myself to be as happy as I can every day,enjoy my surroundings ,my daughter and granddaughter and my kittehs and just let nature take its course.

Dont discourage him from going to the hospital. I go for all kind of problems and i'm always seen and never turned down. One never knows unless you try it.

Access to healthcare abounds and if my brother had reached out in a timely fashion then many of his health issues could have been resolved before reaching the level they have. Now with obamacare who knows what will be available to him and moving him to a religious affiliated hospital is becoming more difficult by the day as they are passed over by the government and economic times are rough and many re folding.

My brother’s failure to reach out stemmed from his obesity and the years of abuse the sperm donor, also known as our father subjected to him. By the time, my brother was in his early twenties I could not get him to walk with me after diner when visiting while on leave from the military he simply became verbally abusive.

My sister, brother and I found all the free and sliding scale health clinics nearby and did print outs of names and addresses but we could not force him to go.

In my brother’s case, his home is up for repossession and he has no savings or checking account thus there is nothing for the obama regime to pilfer so where will he stand.
